about the LEAF Community.
LEAF Identity serves as the standard protocol and data structure that enables the community. It was created by industry members to simplify the integration of legacy, current, and future technologies. The standard is widely used today across a number of security solutions, and with the reimagining of LEAF, it serves as the core to enabling a community of interoperability. Within this community, we introduce LEAF Universal (physical credential) and LEAF Certified (Device Certification Protocol). Through the LEAF Identity standard, LEAF Universal credentials and LEAF Certified devices will work out-of-the-box.
LEAF Universal+ consolidates physical access, logical access, and other functionalities into a single credential. It also includes enhanced security measures such as multi-factor authentication, FIDO2 protocol, and PIV standards to protect against unauthorized access.
At this time, they do not come with custom keysets. Contact LEAF to explore your options.
